Pastor Isaac Williams

24 August 1947 - 16 September 2021

I Won't Complain

December 22, 1980. The day Pastor Isaac dedicated his life to the Father. For 40 years he served this ministry with his whole heart and soul. Present at every Sabbath service and scripture study, the first to arrive and the last to leave, Pastor Isaac sought Almighty Yahweh, striving for every ounce of perfection. Always seeking to improve, he never settled for where he was. There was always something more he wanted- something greater he wanted to become.

A true child of the Most High, he endeavored to be a son the Father could call his own. Through the good and the bad, whether with others or alone, he preached the Word as if he was speaking to millions. He spoke in hospitals and nursing homes. He ministered in prisons and in the pickleball court. He preached to anyone willing to listen. And if no one was, he would preach to the trees. It was never just a job to him. It was a purpose, a mission. And one he carried out without reservation.

He would be the first to say it wasn’t easy. This walk is not easy. And the weight he bore was not a light one. But he would always say, “I wasn’t promised a rose garden.” And roses or weeds, he held on. Despite the sacrifices and trials, he always managed to hold on. Because he knew what he was holding on for. His goal was the kingdom, and he would do all that it took to get there. So regardless of the sleepless nights and tiring days, he kept pushing on. He fought every day, constantly seeking more from the Father. And the Father always answered.

You are never promised tomorrow, and Pastor Isaac never took a day for granted. He lived and loved and gave all that he could because that is what a child of the Most High does. That is what this Child of the Most High did. And after 74 years on this earth, he was ready to rest. Because he was faithful and obedient to the end. Because he fought the good fight. Because it was time for the Father to call him home. And when the Father calls, you must answer. That he knew without a doubt.
